Last Thursday 27 April, the EU Parliament reached an agreement on the AI act draft, with obligation to disclose copyrighted material used in generative AI tools. Next, G7 Digital & Tech Ministers’ meeting in Japan, agreed on Sunday 30 April with the “risk-based” regulation adoption regarding AI-systems. Previously, the current ruling party in Japan, Liberal Democratic Party, published AI White Paper, promoted this approach. On 01 May 2023, the U.S. White House Office of Science & Technology Policy announced a public request for information about the Automated Tools used to surveil, monitor and manage workers.
